Steps to verify your ShopeePay Account

Step 1: Go to the Me tab
Step 2: Select ShopeePay
Step 3: Click on the Settings Icon
Step 4: Click on Identity Verification 
 
Fill in the required details as they appear on your Identity Card (IC).

 

⚠️Note:

  • Provide clear images of your identification document and your face to expedite the verification process.
  • If your IC is damaged, you can submit alternative documents like your driver's license. Shopee will decide whether to approve additional documents.
  • Verification via the app usually takes up to 24 hours. Manual uploads may take longer.
  • You will receive a notification in your Shopee App once verification is completed.
  • If rejected, follow the notification instructions to resubmit.

  • Starting 24th February 2024, all users must complete the e-KYC process to qualify for the higher wallet limit of RM 9,999. 
  • If you previously verified your account but your wallet limit is still RM 4,999, you need to verify your account again to upgrade to the RM 9,999 limit. 
  • By verifying your ShopeePay account, you can fully leverage the platform’s capabilities and enjoy a seamless, secure, and enhanced digital payment experience. 
  • Users with older mobile device operating systems may not be able to perform the latest e-KYC process and may be limited to the RM 4,999 wallet limit. Ensure your device is updated to the latest operating system to access the full benefits.
